Step-by-Step Application Process for SSC CGL 2025

If you want to apply for the SSC CGL 2025 exam, follow the steps below:

Step 2

Log In and Fill the SSC CGL Application Form

  1. After OTR, log in using your new Username and Password.
  2. Go to the “Apply” section and click on SSC CGL 2025.
  3. Fill in details like:
    • Educational Qualification
    • Post Preferences
    • Exam Center Preferences
    • Category (General/SC/ST/OBC etc.)
    • Whether you are a person with disability (PwD)
Step 3

Upload Documents

Upload the required files as per the instructions:

  • Photograph (recent, clear, in color)
  • Signature (in black ink)
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • Any other documents asked based on your category
Step 4

Pay The Application Fees

  • General/OBC/EWS: ₹100
  • SC/ST/PwBD/Women: No fee (Exempted)

Payment can be made online through: Debit Card / Credit Card, Net Banking and UPI

🕟 Make sure to pay the fee before the deadline, or your form will be rejected.

Step 5

Final Submission and Print

  • Review all the details carefully.
  • Click “Final Submit” after checking everything.
  • Download and print the confirmation page for your records.
Correction Window
If you make any mistake, SSC will open a correction window between July 9–11, 2025. You can log in and fix your form during that time.

You Can Also Apply Using the Mobile App: SSC has launched a mobile app called mySSC, where you can register and fill your form easily using your phone.

  • Double-check your exam centre preferences.

The SSC CGL exam is conducted in two main tiers (Tier-I and Tier-II), both in online mode. Here’s a simplified table:
