The National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) has officially declared the result for the AO (Administrative Officer) Scale-I Mains exam 2025. 

The recruitment for AO Scale-I had a total of 266 posts (96 Specialist + 170 Generalist). 

The Mains exam was held on 31 August 2025, and the result was released on 5 November 2025.

To view your result:

• Visit the official NICL website: nationalinsurance.nic.co.in
• Look for the link titled “Download Mains Result” for AO Scale-I Recruitment 2025.
• Enter your Registration Number / Roll Number and Date of Birth / Password as required.
• The result will appear (typically as a PDF listing the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates).

• Candidates who cleared the AO Mains will move to the next stage, which is Interview (for most AO posts) and then Document Verification & Medical Examination.
• Make sure to save and print the result page/PDF for your records.
• Check your email and the official website for any further instructions or updates from NICL.

Next Stage in the Selection Process

After the declaration of the NICL AO Mains Result 2025, candidates who have qualified will move to the Interview round, which is the final stage of the recruitment process.

Only those candidates who score equal to or above the category-wise Mains cut-off will be shortlisted for the interview.

The interview will assess the candidate’s communication skills, subject knowledge, confidence, personality, and overall suitability for the Administrative Officer post.

After the interview, NICL will prepare a final merit list based on the combined marks of the Mains Exam + Interview, followed by document verification.
