Who Can Apply?

How Much Money Can You Get?

The UP Scholarship 2025–26 provides different financial assistance based on the student’s category and level of study. The money is directly transferred to the student’s bank account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

For Pre-Matric students (Class 9–10), the amount ranges from ₹150 to ₹225 per month, along with a one-time allowance of ₹750.

For Post-Matric Intermediate students (Class 11–12), eligible SC/ST students receive ₹230 per month plus ₹1,200 annually.

Students in higher studies (UG, PG, Diploma, PhD, etc.) get more support—₹550 per month for day scholars and ₹1,200 per month for hostellers.

The scholarship is usually disbursed between June and July 2025, ensuring timely financial aid for the academic year.
