The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the Preliminaries Admit Card 2025 for the Clerk exam (CRP CSA-XV).

This is a very important document — without it, candidates cannot enter the exam hall.

Important Dates & Timeline

• The admit card was made available on September 24, 2025. 
• The Prelims exam will be held on October 4, 5, and 11, 2025. 
• The Mains admit card is expected to be released later (in November) for candidates who clear the Prelims.

IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2025

The IBPS Clerk Prelims exam is the first stage of the recruitment process. It is designed to test candidates on speed, accuracy, and basic reasoning/quantitative ability.

Structure of the Exam

• The exam is online (computer-based).
• It has 3 sections.
• A total of 100 questions, carrying 100 marks.
• The duration is 1 hour (60 minutes).
• Each section has a time limit of 20 minutes, meaning you cannot move to the next section until time is over.

Section-Wise Details

1. English Language
   • 30 questions | 30 marks
   • Duration: 20 minutes
   • Topics include Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Error Detection, Fill in the Blanks, and Vocabulary.
2. Numerical Ability (Maths/Quantitative Aptitude)
   • 35 questions | 35 marks
   • Duration: 20 minutes
   • Topics include Simplification, Data Interpretation, Number Series, Percentage, Ratio, Profit & Loss, Time & Work, and Speed & Distance.
3. Reasoning Ability
   • 35 questions | 35 marks
   • Duration: 20 minutes
   • Topics include Puzzles, Seating Arrangement, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, Syllogism, and Inequalities.

Important Points to Remember

• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
• Cut-Off Marks: You need to clear the sectional cut-off (minimum marks in each section) and the overall cut-offto qualify for Mains.
• Language Options: The exam is available in both English and Hindi (except the English Language section).
